Wau Wau Collectif

This cosmic project began when producer Karl Jonas Winqvist befriended multi-instrumentalist Arouna Kane in Toubab Dialaw. In this village, an hour away from Dakar, Wingvist began improvising with Kane and the rest of the local art community; their Senegal recordings made their way to Sweden, where they were primed for release in the shape of ‘Yaral Sa Doom’. This was followed by "Mariage" in 2022. The third album in this cross cultural trilogy is coming in 2026.
